HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities
AireTech tech’s primary duty is to maintain and repair various air quality systems. This includes locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items. Other common responsibilities include
- Removing old systems
- Installing new systems
- Performing routine maintenance
- Communicating with clients and customers
- Ordering and maintaining equipment
- Meeting local HVAC codes
